CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
SUBMISSION OF A SUPPLEMENT TO A THREE YEAR
PLAN AND PROJECT PROPOSALS FOR HOUSING AND
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUNDS .FOR FISCAL YEARS
1984-85, 1985=86 AND 1986-87
WHEREAS, on February 27, 1984 the City Council adopted Resolution No.
20-84 approving a three year plan for Housing and Community Development and
ordering same to be submitted to the County of San Mateo; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 20-84 also approved project proposals for Housing
and Community Development funds for Fiscal years 1984-85, 1985-86 and 1986-87
and ordered same to be submitted to the County of San Mateo; and
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco is also pursuing a federal grant
to partially fund the retrofitting of sound attenuating insulation and improve-
ments to structureS affected by noise; and
WHEREAS, it is likely that low and moderate income residents will not
have adequate funds to pay their share of the cost of said retrofitting;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
1. The City Council hereby approves the Staff Report presented at its
regular meeting of March 14, 1984.
2. The project proposal requesting $30,000 of block grant funds to provide
a portion of the local matching share for persons of low and moderate income to
participate in the City of South San Francisco's Airport Noise .Insulation Project
is hereby approved and ordered to be submitted to the County of San Mateo as a
supplement to project proposals for Housing and Community Development funds and
the three year plan for Housing and Community Development as set forth herein
above.
I hereby certify that the foregOin§ Resolution was duly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 14th day of March , 1984, by the followin§ vote'
