CITY COUNCIL', CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO~, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO DISPOSE
OF REAL PROPERTY BY SALE AND
PROVIDING FOR NOTICE THEREOF
(S~ SPRUCE AVE~ AND NORTH CANAL STY)
WHEREAS', in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act of
1970', as amended (Commencing with Section 21000 of the Public Resources Code)~,
Categorical Exemption analysis'j dated March 20j 1984', has been prepared by the
City staff with respect to the sale of 3~09 acres of real property located at
South Spruce Avenue and North Canal Street', South San Francisco', California
(hereinafter', the "Property") and which is more particularly described in Exhibit
"A" attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein as though set forth
verbatim; and
WHEREAS', pursuant to said Categorical Exemption analysis a Notice of Exemption
dated March 20j 1984 has been filed in the offices of the City Clerk and of the
Clerk of San Mateo County~
NOW', THEREFORE', BE IT RESOLVED BY THE City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that'
1~' The real property hereinabove described and referred to as the Property
is surplus and is not needed for public purposes by the City of South San Franciscoj
and the disposition of the Property would be in the best interests and for the
common benefit of the City of South San Francisco and its citizens~
2'~ It is the intention of this Council to dispose of the Property by sale
at not less than fair market value, pursuant to the provisions of Section 37350
of the Government Code~
3~ The City Manager is hereby directed to cause written notice of this
Council's intention to dispose of the Property to ge given in accordance with
Section 54222 of the Government Code and to offer the Property for sale at fair
market value in accordance with the aforementioned section~.~
I certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francusco at a regular
meeting held on the 28th day of March ', 19 84 ~, by the following
vote'

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
All that certain real property situated in the City of South San Francisco
County of San Mateo, State of California, being a portion of the lands
described in the Deed to the City of South San Francisco, recorded in Book
6530 of Official Records of San Mateo County ~at Page 658, said real property
being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the southeast corner of said land, thence ~rom said Point '
of Beginning along the southerly line of said lands N74v27'W'364.00 feet;
thence N15v33'E 370.52 feet to a point on the northerly line of said lands;
thence S74o27'E 364.00 feet to the northeast corner of said land;'thence
S15°33'W 370.52 feet to the Point of Beginning and containing 3.096 acres
of land more or less.
