CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING LOUISE COLEMAN
WHEREAS~ Louise Coleman has dedicated thirty-seven ~$?) years of stellar
service to the City of South San Francisco~ and
WHEREAS~ Louise was first hired as a Bookkeeper and in 1955 was promoted
to Senior Account Clerk and held that position for the next ten {lO) years~
and
WHEREAS, after a two month break in service~ Louise missed her close re-
lationship with City employees and returned to City service in January, 19~4
advancing steadily until she achieved the position of Accounting Officer,
continuing in that position until her retirement in April~ ~95~ and
WHEREAS, Louise Coleman was born and raised in South San Francisco~ having
graduated from South San Francisco High School, and because of fondness for her
home town she has participated in City events and functions, and has taken
interest in people in general~ always finding time to help her fellow employees~
and
WHEREAS, she is a Charter member of the South San Francisco Employeest
Association and is active in the Italian Catholic Federation in this City~
and
WHEREAS, Louise and her charming husband Fred have hopes of moving to the
country within the next few years for some leisure living where they will find
time to enjoy their nine ~9) grandchildren and one {l) great grandchild~ and
WHEREAS~ Louise has been studying conversational Italian so that when she
and her husband leave for Italy on May ~ IgS~ for an indefinite period of time,
she will be able to converse with her relatives~ and
WHEREAS, her devotion to duty and the quality of her services have been of
great benefit to the City, and because of this the City Council desires to
commend and express appreciation to her~
NOWjTHEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that it does hereby express appreciation to Louise Coleman for her
dedicated seruices to the City of South San Francisco and does order this Reso-
lution incorporated in the official records of the City as this Council's
expression of appreciation and its wishes for her long and happy retirement.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the ?~th day of March ~ 1584~ by the following
