A RESOLUTION COMMENDING LEO ANGELO CROSARIO£
WHEREAS, Leo Crosariol, having devoted over thirty ~$0) years of service
to the South San Francisco Police Department, retired on February 29, 1984~
and
WHEREAS, he was first employed by the South San Francisco Police Depart-
ment December 20, 1955, and has been a member of the Peninsula Peace Officersf
Association and the South San Francisco Police Officers~ Association~ and
WHEREAS, Leo was appointed as Juvenile Officer in the Criminal Investiga-
tion Bureau on October 1, 19~£, serving until January ~, 1971 when he advanced
to Court Officer as the Police Department's liaison to Court, and on September
15, ~978 he was promoted to Police Officer II~ and
WHEREAS, Leo has been a resident of South San Franciso since July ~, 19~8,
and on May 19, 19~1 he married his lovely wife Marina of South San Francisco~
and
WHEREAS, before entering the Police Department he served as.a U.S. Army
Medic in Korea from January, ~9~1 to January 1, ~955~ and
WHEREAS, Leo and Marina have two wonderful children, LeAnn and Steve, and
one grandson~ and
WHEREAS, Leo is a member of the South San Francisco Rod and Gun Club and
the South San Francisco Elks Club~ and
WHEREAS, Leo Crosariol hopes to spend his retiring years enjoying his
hobbies of hunting, fishing, gardening, traveling and photography, as well as
spending time to enjoy his family~ and
WHEREAS, he has helped protect the City of South San Francisco for over
thirty ~$0) years, and his dedication to justice, fairness and high morals are
in the highest tradition of the Police Department~ and
WHEREASj the City Council desires to express appreciation to Leo Angelo
Crosariol for his contribution to the South San Francisco Police Department
and the City of South San Francisco in general~
NOWj THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that it does hereby express appreciation to Leo Angelo Crosariol
for his dedicated seruices to the City of South San Francisco and does order
this Resolution incorporated in the official records of the City as this
Council's expression of appreciation and its wishes for his long and happy
retirement.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
Re.qular meeting held on the BSth day of March ~ 1£ 84
