HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 104-1984 RESOLUTION NO. 104-84 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION COMMENDING ALDEN VINCENT BORSERIO WHEREAS, through the efforts of faithful and capable employees munici- pal and other governmental agencies are able to serve the public with efficiency and courtesy; and WHEREAS, Alden Vincent Borserio has served as the City's Parking Enforcement Officer for twenty years and has exemplified all of the virtues valued by this City in an employee; and WHEREAS, he has enforced parking regulations for this City with a dedi- cation to justice, fairness and high morals in the finest tradition of the Police Department; and WHEREAS, he has been commended for valor by the Police Department for his demonstration of bravery and awareness in the performance of his duty in two robbery incidents that aided the community; and WHEREAS, in tribute to the admiration and respect felt for Alden by the Downtown Merchants Association, a retirement reception will be held in his honor at the Silver Dollar on July 31, 1984 as a gesture of appreciation; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council does hereby commend and express appreciation to Alden Vincent Borserio for his twenty years of service to this City and does order this Resolution incorporated in the official records of the City as this Council's expression and its wishes for a long and happy retirement. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 25th day of July , 1984, by the fol 1 owing vote: AYES: Councilmembers Mark N.
