RESOLUTION NO. 113-84 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION ADOPTING REPORT OF ANNUAL SEWER RENTALS AND CHARGES FOR 1984-85 PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 14.12 OF THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 14.12 of the South San Francsco Municipal Code, sewer rentals and charges are required to be assessed on the City tax rolls and collected with the regular municipal taxes; and WHEREAS, the written report charging each parcel with the sewer rentals and charges has been duly filed with the City Clerk, which report reflects adjustments made by the Director of Public Services; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly called and held on July 25, 1984, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Municipal Services Building, 33 Arroyo Drive, South San Francisco, California, to consider any protests and/or modification of said report prior to adoption thereof; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, that: 1. The "Report of Sewer Rental Charges for 1984-85, prepared in accordance with Chapter 14.12 of the Municipal Code," which charges each parcel of real property receiving directly the benefits of the municipal sanitary sewer services for fiscal year 1984-85, is hereby approved and adopted. 2. The sewer rentals and charges filed with the City Clerk con- tained in the "Report of Sewer Rental Charges for 1984-85, in accordance with Chaper 14.12 of the Municipal Code," and submitted by the Director of Finance, are hereby adopted, and said rentals and charges shall be assessed on the City tax rolls and collected with the regular municipal taxes, and pursuant to Chapter 14.12 of the Municipal Code, said rentals shall constitute a lien upon the respective parcels of real property in the City of South San Francisco. 3. The City Clerk shall cause a copy of this resolution to be published within fifteen (15) days after passage in the Enterprise Journal, a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of South San Francisco, and shall further certify to the County Tax Collector or Auditor that the re- port was adopted by the Council, said certification to be substantially in the form set forth in the said report. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 25th day of July , 1984, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers 'Mark N. Haffey, Gus Nicolopulos; and Roberta Cerri Teglia NOES: None ABSENT: None City Clerk REPORT OF SEWER RENTAL CHARGES FOR 1984-85 IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 14.12 OF THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE In accordance with Chapter 14.12 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code, the following report, prepared as of July 9, 1984, is submitted, describing the parcels of real property receiving directly the benefits of municipal sanitary sewer services and the amount of the annual charge or rental to be imposed against each such parcel for the fiscal year 1984-85. 1. Summary of rentals or charges. The following is a summary of the annual rental or charges for 1984-85. All commercial and industrial properties $ 1,055,679 All residental properties, except those serviced by the Westborough County Water District Public Utility Roll Bil led by Statement Total $ 809,180 $ 1,164 $ 24,271 $ 1,890,294 2. Sewer Rental Account File. This report refers to and in- corporates by reference the report entitled "City of South San Francisco Sanitary Sewer Charges," prepared by Engineering Data Services, Los Altos, California, a copy of which is filed in the Department of Finance. Said report describes each parcel of real property receiving directly the benefit of municipal sanitary sewer service and the amount of annual charge or rental imposed against each such parcel for the fiscal year 1984-85. This report submits, refers to and incorporates by reference the City of South San Francisco's Sewer Charge List for 1984-85 which describes by Assessor's parcel number each parcel of real property receiving directly the benefit of municipal sanitary sewer service and the amount of the annual charge or rental imposed against each such parcel for 1984-85, same to be filed with the County Tax Collector or Auditor together with a copy of this report bearing the Clerk's endorsement that the report has been duly adopted by the City Council.
