A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR PURCHASE.OF TRAFFIC CONTROLLER
ASSEMBLIES FOR INTERSECTIONS OF BADEN &
MAPLE AVENUES AND LINDEN & RAILROAD
AVENUES, PROJECT NO. TR-84-1
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that:
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous authorization and published notice,
bids were publicly opened, examined and declared on the 1st day of
~August , 19 84 , for
PURCHASE OF TRAFFIC CONTROLLER ASSEMBLIES FOR INTERSECTIONS OF BADEN &
MAPLE AVENUES AND LINDEN & RAILROAD AVENUES, PROJECT NO. TR-84-1
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said proposals or
bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract to the
lowest responsible bidder, Traconex, Inc., Santa Clara
for the bid price of Ten Thousand Four Hundred Fifteen Dollars and Thirty-Eight
Cents.
($10,415.38 ).
2. That the City Manager of said City is hereby authorized to make
and enter into a written contract with said successful bidder and the City
Clerk of said City 'is hereby directed to attest his signature and affix thereto
the corporate seal of the City,
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at
a regular meeting held on the 12th day of September , 19 84 ,
by the following vote-
