HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 141-1984 RESOLUTION NO. 141-84 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING AMENDMENT TO THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDER- STANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND THE UNIT #1 MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES FOR THE PERIOD JULY 1, 1984 THROUGH JUNE 30, 1985. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the Amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding with Unit #1 Management Employees forthe period July 1, 1984 through June 30, 1985, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by this reference as.if set forth verbatim, is hereby accepted and approved. EXHIBIT "A" TO RESOLUTION NO. 141-84 AMENDMENT TO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE 'CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND THE UNIT #1 MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES FOR THE PERIOD JULY 1, 1984 THROUGH JUNE 30, 1985. .. On July 25, 1984 the City Council adopted the Unit #1 Memorandum of Understanding for the period July l, 1984 through June 30, 1985 as recommended. The Memorandum of Understanding provided for no less than a general 6% wage increase for all classifications included in Unit #1. The classification of Recreation Program Coordinator was added to the City's classification plan on July 27, 1984 by Ordinance amendment. On the same date, a Resolution was passed which specified the salary and benefits for the classification of Recreation Program Coordinator. As that Resolution did not provide a salary increase, the 6% general wage increase provided to members of Unit #1 was not applied to the Recreation Program Coordinator classification July 1, 1984. In order to provide that 6% general wage increase~as'specified in the Memorandum of Understanding, the.representatives.of the City and the representatives of Unit #1 have met and conferred and have agreed to amend the Unit #1. Manangement Employees Memor. andum of Understanding for the period July 1, 1984 through ~June 30, 1985. It is therefore, .agreed that the .Memorandum of Understanding between the City of South San Francisco and the Unit #1 Management Employees for the period July 1, 1984 through June 30, 1985 shall be'amended to reflect the following salary rates for the classification of Recreation Progarm Coord- inator on Page 5 of Appendix A: RECREATION PROGRAM COORDINATOR A B C D E Hourly 8.48 8.90 9.35 9.82 10. 30 Weekly 339.20 356.00 374.00 392.80 412.40 Bi-Weekly 678.40 712.00 748.00 785.60 824.00 Approx.
