REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF THE
PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE EL CAMINO
CORRIDOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT, REPORT ON THE
PLAN AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT TO THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO PLANNING COMMISSION
AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the city of South San
Francisco (the "Agency") staff has prepared a Redevelopment
Plan (the "Plan") and Report on the Plan {including an
Environmental Impact Report (EIR")} for the E1 Camino Corridor
Redevelopment Project; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to California Community Redevelopment
Law a public hearing on the Plan will be jointly convened by
the Agency and the city Council of the City of South San
Francisco (the "City Council") on May 26, 1993 at 7:00 p.m.;
and
WHEREAS, the Plan and Report on the Plan must be submitted
to the City Council for its~ review prior to the aforesaid
public hearing; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to California Health & Safety Code §§
33346 and 33347 prior to the public hearing on the Plan, the
proposed Plan must first be submitted to the City of South San
Francisco Planning Commission for its recommendations and
report; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission makes recommendations to
the City Council on the certification of Environmental Impact
Reports and determines if the Plan conforms to the General Plan
for the City of South San Francisco.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment Agency
of the City of South Francisco that the Executive Director of
the Agency is hereby authorized to submit the aforesaid Plan
and Report on the Plan, to the City Council for its review
prior to the public hearing.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Executive Director of the
Agency is hereby authorized to submit the aforesaid Plan and
Report on the Plan to the City of South San Francisco Planning
Commission for its report, recommendation, and review as
hereinabove stated, and the Planning Commission is hereby
authorized to conduct such hearings and reviews as are
appropriate.
I hereby, certify that ~ the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the Redevelopment Agency of
the City of South San Francisco at regular meeting held
on the 14th day of April , 1993 by the following
vote:
AYES: Boardmembers Jack Drago, Robert Yee, and Chairman Pro Tem
Joseph A. Fernekes
NOES: None
