HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 193-1984 RESOLUTION 193-84 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE SALARY AND BENEFITS FOR THE POSITION OF SUPERINTENDENT OF FACILITIES MAINTENANCE BY AMENDING THE UNIT #1 MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES )IEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING FOR THE PERIOD JULY l, 1984 THROUGH JUNE 30, 1985 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the Amendment to' the Memorandum of Understanding with Unit #1 Management Employees for the period July l, 1984 through June 30, 1985, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by this reference as if set forth verbatim, is hereby accepted and approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and is hereby authorized to endorse on Page 1 of the signature page of said Memorandum of Understanding the following: "Approved by City Council Resolution No193-84Adopted Now'. 28, 1984". I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South' San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 28thday of November 1984, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Mark N. Addiego, Emanuele N. Damonte, Richard A. Haffey, Gus Nicolopulos; and Roberta Cerri Teglia NOES: None ABSENT: None EXHIBIT "A" TO RESOLUTION NO. 193-84 AMENDMENT TO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND THE UNIT #1 MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES FOR THE PERIOD JULY l, 1984 THROUGH JUNE 30, 1985 1) The City Council approved allocation of one {1) full time classified positiOn of Superintendent of Facilities Maintenance as part of the City's reorganization plan. 2) On November 28, 1984 after properlY posting notices to all interested parties and affording them the opportunity to meet and discuss the matter with the City's Municipal Employee Relations Officer, Unit #l was modified by Council action to include the classification of Superintendent of Facilities Maintenance. 3) The Department of Engineering, Technical and Maintenance Services has now established the salary range for the Superintendent of Facilities Maintenance position. 4) In order to appropriately establish the salary for the position of Superintendent of Facilities Maintenance, the representatives of the City and the representatives of Unit #1 have met and conferred and have agreed to amend the Unit #l Management Employees Memorandum of Understanding for the period July l, 1984 through June 30, 1985. It is therefore agreed that the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of South San Francisco and the Unit #4 Water Quality Control Plant Employees for the period July l, 1984.through June 30, 1985 shall be amended to include the following classification and salary range on Page 6 of Appendix A: SUPERINTENDENT OF FACILITIES MAINTENANCE {JUNE 29, 1984) A B C D E - Hourly 16.50 16.96 17.81 18.70 19.63 Weekly 646.00 '678.40 712.40 748.00 785.20 Bi-weekly 1,292.00 1,356.80 1,424.80 1,496.00 1,570.40 Approximate Monthly 2,799.00 2,940.00 3,087.00 3,241.00 3,403.00 Approximate Annual 33,592.00 35,277.00 37,045.00 38,897.00 40,830.00 The City and the Unit #1 Management Employees hereby agree to the Amendments as expressly stated herein and except as herein modified, all other provisions terms and conditions of the Memorandum of Understanding shall remain in effect.
