Resolved by the Board of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco that the City of South San Francisco throumh the President of the Board of Trustees make application for a grade crossing at the following described points in the City of South San Francisco and that the City Attorney being directed to file the necessary proceedings before the Railroad Commission. RESOLUTION OF iNTEi~TION TO ABATE WEEDS. -1924- Whereas weeds are now growing upon the streets of the City of South San Francisco designated as follows, to-wit: Armour Avenue from the westerly line of San Brtmo R~.~ad to the easterly line of Olive Avenue; Aspen Avenue for the full length thereof; Pine Avenue from the westerly line of San Bruno Road to the westerly end of said Pine Avenue; California Avenue from the westerly line of San Bruno Road to the end of California Avenue; Lux Avenue from the westerly line of San Bruno Road to the easterly line of Maple Avenue; ~,~iller Avenue from the westerly line of San Bruno Road to the easterly line of Chestnut Avenue: Grand Avenue from the westerly line of Maple Avenue to the easterly line of Chestnut Avenue; Baden Avem~e from the westerly line of San Bruno Road to the easterly line of Chestnut Avenue; Commercial Avenue from the westerly line of Linden Avenue to the easterly line of Orange Avenue; Railroad Avenue from the westerly line of Linden Avenue to the east- erly line of Orange Avenue; San Bruno Road from the northerly line of Commercial Avenue to the north boundary line of said City of South San Francisco, encepting all street and alley intersections with said San Bruno Road; Cypress Avenue from the north line of Baden Avenue to the south line of Armour Avenue, encepting all street and alley intersections with said Cypress Avenue, Linden Avenue from the north line of Commercial Avenue to the south line of Armour Avenue, e::cepting all street and alley intersections with said Linden Avenue; h~aple Avenue from the north line of Railroad Avenue. to the south li~am of Aspen Avenue, excepting all street and alley interesections with said ~iaple Avenue; Spruce Avenue from the north line of Railroad Avenue to the northerly end there- of, excepting all street and alley interesections with said Spruce Avenue; ~,laMnolia Avenue from the north line of Railroad Avenue to the south line of Miller Avenue, excepting all street and alley intersections with said ~,.lagnolia Avenue; Orange Avenue from the north line of Commercial Avenue to the south line of M~ller Avenue, excepting all street and alley intereection~ with said Orange Avenue; Acacia Avenue for the full length thereof, excepting all street and alley intersections with said Acacia Avenue; Eucalyptus Avenue from the ~orth li:~e of Co~.~z:ercial Avenue to the south line of Miller Avenue, e::cepting all street and alley intersections with said Eucalyptus Avenue; Laurel Avenue for tho full length thereof; Pine Terrace for the full length thereof: Walnut Avenue for the full length thereof; Lux Avenue from the west line of ~,~ple Avenue to the east line of Spruce Avenue, e::copting all street and alley intersections with said Lux Avenue; Park Way for the full length thereof, e::cepting all street and alley intersections with said Park Way; Olive Avenue for the full length thereof, ex- cepting all street intersections- J,muiper Avenue for the full length thereof: Randolph Avenue for the full length thereof; Chapman Avenue for the full length tbJereof; and Br~den Avenue for the ~?.l length thereof, excepting all Streets and alley intersections with said Bradon Avenue; and Whereas said weeds have attained such a large growth as to become a fire menace when said weeds shall become dry and are dangerous; Resolved by the Board of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco that the weeds growing on all the portions of the streets hereinbefore described be, and the same here- by are declared to be a public nuisance amd that it is the intention of said Board of Trustees to order said nuisance to be absted; Said Board of Trustees hereby determines and declares that said nuisance enists in front of the following descr_~bed property, all of which is situated in the City of South San Francisco, County of San ~,~ateo, State of California, and particularly described as follows, to-wit: Block one hundred thirty-three (13~), as shown upon that certain map entitled "Plat of Buckingham's Subdivision of Block 1~, South San Francisco, Cal.", which map was. filed in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo, balifornia, April 1st, 1892, and recorded in Book 2 of ~,iaps at page 53; block one hundred twenty-nine.(129); lots one (1) and seventeen (17) to thirty (Z0) ' ~ ° ~nc~l~ive in block one hundred thirty (1Z0), as shown upon that certain map entitled "South San Francisco, ~San ~,iateo ~o. The Superintendent of Streets is hereby directed to c~use to be conspicuously posted in front of all property in front of which said nuisance o:~:ists, and not ~.~ore than one hundred (100) feet in distance apart, but not less that throe (~) in al!, notices headed "Notice to Destroy Weeds" in the manner and form required by law. All of the herein proposed w~rk of abating said nuisance shall be done in pursua~ce°of an act of the Legislature of the State of California entitled "An act authorizing municipal- ities to declare noxious or dangerous weeds growing upon the streets or sidewalks, or upon private property within municipalities, to be a public ,nuisance, creating a lien upon the property fronti~ng upon such streets or sidewalks or upon which such nuisance e~.[ists for the cost of abating the same ", approved I,[ay 26, 1915. -0-0-O-O-O-O-O-0- I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution of intention was regularly introduced and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco this £Sth day of April, 19~4, by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees: F.A.Cunningham, A.J.Eschelbach, H.~cCaffrey, H. ~{cNellis.
