Whereas this B~ard believes that the developement of the South San Francisco Harbor
is an improvement that v~'ill not only be of great benefit to the City of South San Francis-
co but likewise a wonderful benefit to the City of San Francisco, and the entire County
of San Mateo and the Peninsula, by reason of the fact that this is a Peninsula Develop-
~:ent that affects the pros?erity of all this s?ecified territory, and
Whereas, we believe that the Board of Engineers of Rivers and Harbors, Washington,
D. C., should make a thorough investigaticn into the ~/.atter and entertain a reconsider-
ation of the report previously made pursuant to Act of Congress, September 22nd., 1922,
in order that a fair and equitable determination be made, believing as we do that when
such investigation is made that the said Board will understand the great and pressing
need for same;
Now therefore be it resolved that we endorsee this project of Harbor Developement of
South San Francisco Harbor, as not only a worthy one but an absolute necessity;
Be it furt]~er resolved that we forward a copy of this resolution to the Board of
Engineers of Rivers and Harbors, Washington, D. C., requesting that we be permitted
to sho-¢~ by additional evidence the great nece'.-'sity for same and that this Board will
thereby determine that this improvement should be made.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and ado?ted
by the Board of Trustees of the CiZy off South San Francisco, this 5th, day of May, 1924,
