Whereas, the Board of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco did on the 28th day of April, 1924, pursuant to a notice inviting sealed proposals, open sa~e, and ascerts, ln that W. ~. Tobin was the lowest regular responsible bidder for the construction of a system of sewers in that portion of the City of South San Francisco lying west of Chestnut Avenue; and Whereas, it is our desire at this ti~e to make an official award of contract to said W. J. Tobin; Now be ~it resolved by the Board of Trustees of the City of South San ~'r~ncisco that W. J. Tobin be awarded the contract for the construction of s sewe~~ system in that portion of the City of South San Francisco lying west of Chestnut Avenue, which construction must be in accordance with the plans and specifications on £i~e for the doing of said work; Be it further resolved that upon the completion of said work according to said plans and specifications and in a good and workman-like manner, the City of South San Francisco will pay to said W. J. Tobin the sum of $4080.~1 at the detailed prices ~s specified in his proposal on file.
