Whereas the ?acii'ic Gas ~nd Electric Company, a corporation duly organized and exist-
ing under a~d by virtue of the laws of the State o~' California, i°iled in the offfice of this
board on the Snd day of Febuary, ]92~, its application f'or the £ranchise above mentioned and re-
ferred to: and
Whereas this bOard, on ~he End, day of ~ebruary, 19£~, adopted a resolution.declaring
its attention of granting said franchise upon the terms and conditions in said resolution set
forth: and
Whereat due notice of the sale of said franchise has been pu!~lished in the manner ~nd
for the time prescribed by law az~.d by t.'._e aforesaid resolution~

and said sealed bid was accomvanied by the certi±'ied check o£ said ~&ci£ic Gas and Electric Co.
