HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 61-1925~O~UTION DETERMINING TEAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND NECESSITY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO D~ND THE ACQUISITION, CONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION O~ THE ~O~OWING M~NICIPAL IMPROVE~AENTS ON SAID CITY, TO-WIT, (1) NE~ESSAR~ AND PROYER APPARATUS AND PROPERTY ~OR THE PREVENTION AND EXTINC~ISHMENT ON FIRES, INCZUDING TIRE ALARM EXTENSION S~STEM;' ~IRE TRU~ CK, TIRE HOSE, ~IRE E~DRANTS AND ~IRE BUILD- ING AND THE QUIPM~T THEREYOR; AND (E) THE IMPROVWA~W~NT ON PUBLIC PARKS AND CIVIC CENTER 02 SAID CITY, INCLUDING NECESSARY STREET WORK IN CONNECTION THEREWITH, THE COST ON EACH ON WHICH SAID IMYROVW~ENTS WII~ BE TOO GREAT TO BE PAID OUT ON THE ORDINARY ANNUAL INCOME AND REVENUE 02' SAID CITY. INW~RI~AS, the City of South San ~rancisco, in the County of San Nateo,, 8tats of California, is a municipal corporation incorporated as a city of the sixth class under the laws of the State of Calif- ornia, and its board of trustees is a legislative branch of said city; IT IS NOW BY SAID BOARD O~ TRUST.S HEREBY RESOLVED AS ~O~OWS: Section 1. That the board of trustees of the City of South San Francisco hereby determimes that the public interest and necessity demand the acquisition, construction and completion of the following municipal improvement of said City, to wit, necessary and proper apparatus and property for the preven- tion and extinguishment of fires, including fire alarm extension system, fire truck, fire hose, fire hydrants and fire building and the equipment therefor. Section 2. That said board of trustees here~ry further determines that the public interest and necessity also demand the acquisition, construction and completion of the following municipal improve-. merit of said City, to-wit, the impFot~ement of public parks of said city, including necessary street work in connection therewith. Section 3, And it is ~hereby further determined by said board of trustees that the cost of said municipal improvements, and each of' them will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual in- come and revenue of said municipality. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly passed this 17th day of August, 19~5, by the following vote, to-wit: Ayes: Trustees, Blank, Cunningham, Eschelbach, McCaffrey and McNellis. Noes: Trustees, None Absent: Trustees, None and was approved this day by the President of the Board of Trustees of said City.
