public utilities ~oing busines~ in our City, such a~ the Pacific ~elephone ~n~ Tele~r~p~ Company

Railway
and
Power
C o~p~ny.
And whereas we believe it fair ~nd equitable that the said ~pplic~tion ~hould c~rry ~ ~l~er
of the percentage for the first five years on the ~ros~ earning~ in vie~ of the f~ct that the
City ~dor th~ recent rulin~ o~ the H~itroa~ Commission ~i~l henceforth be require~ to p~y to said
W~ter Company ~n ~ddition~l ~o~t e~ch Year ~re~tin~ between t~o ~nd three thousand dollars.
Now be it resolved by the Board of Trustees of the City of South S~ Francisco that we m~ke
formal demand on the South S~ Francisco Water Company to make application at an early date for a
franchise to operate i~s water utility in the City of South San Francisco, and that a Waiver be
msde therein of its first five years percentage.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be sent to the said Company.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution w~s duly and regularly passed this 21st. day of
December 19~, by the following vote:
