RESOLUTION. AUTHORIZING EXECs, QUITCLAIm{ DEED,
Whereas the Board of TRustees of the City of South San Francisco, a~municipal corporation in
the County of San l,Iateo, S~a~e of California, did, on the End day of November, 1925, pass a resolution
declaring its intention to order %he following work to be done in said City, to-wit:
Tb~t that portion of Comm. ercial Avenue between the east line of Linden Avenue and the west line
of San Bruno Ro~d and that portion of Cypress Avenue between'the north line of Com~nercial Avenue and
the south line of the alley in block n~:]bered one hundred forty- one(141), produced easterly across
Cypress Avenue, as shown upon that certain map entitled" South San Francisco", San Nateo Co. Cal. Plat
No. l" which map was filed in the offiee of the County Recorde~ of the County of San Nateo, California
Narch 1st, 1892 and recorded in Nap Book No. ~ at page 5~, be vacated and closed up in whole, to wh-
ich said resolution of intention now.on file in said matter reference is hereby made for further par-
ticulars and the same is made s pert hereof; and
Whereas the Street Superintendent of said City of South San Francisco did thereupon cause notice
of the ~as~age of said resolution to be posted ~nd published in the m~nner and form required by !~w ~.
and by said resolution of intention, reference being hereby made for further particulars to the afl
idavit of George A. Kneese, said Street Superintendent, and to the affidavit of H. E. Reynolds and
Charles Hodgkin, which affidavits are now on file in said matter in the office of the City C~lerk
of $~d Board of Trustees and are made a part hereof; and
Whereas no written objections or protests against said proposed work, or Against any portion
thereof, were at ~ny time filed with or received by the Cl~rk of the said Board of Trustees or this
Board of Trustees at any time subsequent to the publication of %he said notice hereinbefore mention
ed: and
Whereas, after more th&n ten days had elapsed after the expiration of the time of publication
of said notice, said Board of Trustees did, on the'~Blst day of December,19~5 pass a resolution whet
ein%~hat portion of Commercial Avenue between the eest line of Linden Avenue and the west lineof
San Bruno Road and that portion of Cypress Avenue between the north lineof Commercial Avenue and th
the South line of the~alley in block one hundred ~nd forty- one (141), producede, e~t~ly across C
Cypress Avenue, as shown uoon that certain map entitled" South Sam Francisco, San ~ateo Co. Cal.
Plat No. l" which mSp filed in the office of the County Recorde~ of the County of Ban Nateo, Cal-
ornia, Harch l, 189£, and recorded in ~ap Book No. ~ at page 5£ were v~cated, abandoned, discon-
tinue~ and closed up, to which resolution ~eference is hereby made an~ ~he~same is m~de a part
hereof, and
Whereas the legal title to the land hereinbefore described is vested in the South San Fran-
cisco Land and Improvement Company, a Corporation organized and existing under the la~s of the State
of California, and the right of the City of South San Francisco existing before the closing of said
streets or avenues, as aforesaid, consisted only of an easement therein,
Therefore resolved by the Board of TRustees of the City of South San Francisco thut the Presi-
dent of said Board of Trustees and the City Clerkbe, and they hereby are authorized, enpowered~and
directed in behalf of said City of South San Francisco, to execute and deliver %o South San Fran-
cisco Land and Improvement Company, a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the
State of California, s quictclaim deed of ~]l the right , title and interest of the City of South
San Francisco in and to each of the portions of the streets or avenues hereinbefore described.
I hereby certify that the for'egoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
Board of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco at a regular r~eeting held this Elst day
