WHEREAS the Board of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco did, on the 2nd day of November,
192§, pass. a resolution declaring its intention to order the following work to be ~0~n~in sai6 City

That that ~ortion of Commercial Avenue between the east line of linden Avenue and ~he w$$tLline
of S~n Bruno ~oad and that portinn of Cypress Avenue betwee~.,the north line of Commercial Avenue
and the south line of the alley in block one hundred and fort~ onei 1Al) produced easterly ~cross
Cypress Avenue, as shown u?on that certain map entitled "South S~n Francisco, San M~teo Co. Cal.
Pl~t. No. l", which msp~was filed in the office of the County RecorAer of the County of Ssn Nateo
California, ~arch ~ st, ~89~, and recorded in the ~ap Book~o. 2 a~ p~ge ~£ b~-v~cated ~nd c~o~i u
~p in whole, ~nd in said resolution declare that no land is mecess~ry to be tsken therefor, and
did in said resolution specify the e~t~rior boundsries of the district of lands to be affected ~nd
benegited by said work ~.nd to be assessed to pay the damages, cost and e~penses thereof, to which
said resolution of intention now on file in said matter reference is hereby made for further par-
ticulars ~nd the same is made a part hereof, and
Whereas. the Street Superintemdent of caid City of South San Francisco did thereupon cause no-
tice of the passage of said resolution to be posted and published in the manner and form req!ired
by law and by s~id resolution of intention, reference being hereby made for further particulars to
the affidavit of George A. Eneese, said St~eet~up~ri~tendent, and to the Affidavit of H. E,. Reynolds
and Charles Hodgkins which affidavits are on file in said matter in the office o~ the ClerE of said
Board of Trustees ~nd are made a part hereof; and
Whereas no written objections or protests against said proposed work have at e.ny tine been file~
~ith or received by the Clerk of said Bosrd o£ Trustees at ~ny time subsequent to the publication of
the said notice hereinbefore ~entioned, a~d more than ten d~ys have elapsed after the expiration of
the time of publication of s~id notice of the passage of said resolution; ~nd
Whereas the proposed work is for the closing up of a portion of Commercial Avenue and ~ portion
of Cypress Avenue, as hereinbefore described; and
Whereas said Board of Trustees of the City of South Son Francisco h~s determined and does hereby
deternineCthat no ~ssess~ent is necessary for the doing of said proposed work, and that no damage
will result by c2osing up of said portion of Conunercial Avenue ~nd s~id portion of Cypress Avenue
as hereinbefore described~
Now, therefore, said Board of T~ustees hereby orders that the!following street work be done in
said City, to-wit;
That that portion of Connercial Avenue between the east line of Linden Avenue and the west line
of San Bruno Road and that portion of Cypress Avenue betwween the north line of Com~ercisl Avenue snd
the south line of the ~lley in block nu~bered one hundred forty- one (l~l) produced easterly across ~
cypress Avenue, as showm upon that certain map entitled"South San Francisco, San Mateo Co. Cal. Plat
No !", which m~p was filed in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo, California
Narch, lst,1892 s,nd recorded in the Map Book No. 2 at page ~ be vacated and closedup in whole.
And be it resolved that the streets or Avenues hereinbefore described be, and the Same hereby ~
are vacated, discontinued, ~bandoned and closed up.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution w~s regularly introduced ~nd adopted b~ the Board of
Trustees of the City of South San Francisco, at a regular meeting held this 21st d~y of December
