RESOLUTION 0F AWARD

WHEREAS the Board of Trustees of the City of South Sun Francisco did,
in open session, on the 4th day of October, 19£6, publicly open, examine and
declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing all the improvement work described
in Resolution of Intention No. 57 which resolution o£~ intention was passed and
adopted by the Board of Trustees of the C~ty of South S~n Francisco on the End day
of August, 19£6, to which resolution of intention reference is hereby made 'for a
description of said work and the assessmen~ district in s~id resolution described.
Notice is hereby given that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments
and bear interest ~t the.rate of seven I?) per cent per annum will be issued here-
under in the msnner specified in the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915", and the amend-
ments thereto, the last installment of ~hich bonds shall mature nine 19} years from
the End day of July, next succeeding ten Il0) months from their date.
Except as hereinbefore provided, all of the herein proposed work shall be
done in pursuance of an sct of the Legislature of the State of California, designated
ar the "Improvement Act of 1911", approved April ?, 1Rll, and the amendments thereto.
Resolved that said Board of Trustees hereby rejects all said propos~als o~
bids except ti~at next herein mentioned, ~nd hereby awards the contract for doing said
work and improvement to the lowest responsib~le bidder, to-wit: F. H. Ritchie~
at the prices named in his bid, to-wit:
Grading, ninety ~90) cents per cubic yard; integral concrete curb, Forty-
five 14~) cents per lin~al f. oot: combined concrete curb and gutter, one Il) dollar
per lineal foot: two {2) inch by six 16) redwood he~der boards, Fifteen (l~) cents
per lineal foot: concrete pavement, Nineteen ~,nd ?/10 cents 150.197) per square foot:
asph~ltic concrete pave:aent, Twenty-four and 8/10 cents ($0.2A8) per squ~re foot;
concrete ~idewalk, 'nineteen i lg} cents per square foot.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to po~t notice of this award' conspicuous-
]y for five ~) days on or nes~ the Council Chamber door of this board and a]so to
pub_~ish this notice by two {~) insertions in "The South San ~rancisco Journal", a
v~eek]~y newspaper printed and published in s~id City and hereby designated for that
purpose by said Board of Trustees.

I hereby certify that the foregoing reso],ution was regular2y introduced
~nd adopted by the Board of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco this Ath day
of October, 1926, by the following vote:
