Home My WebLink AboutReso 121-1926~0. 50 WHEREAS the Board of Trustees. of the ¢$ty of South San-~rancisco did, in open session, on the 8th day of November, 1926, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the f~2owing work in said city, to-wit: The grading of the CiVic Center Site and the grading of Orange ~venue between the southerly line of Commercial Avenue and the easterly terminus of Third-~treet in the City of South San Francisco-. All work herein provided fox shall.be done to of£icial grade and in accordance with the special plans and specifications for said w0r~, which plans and specifications are entitled "Plans and specifica¢ions for grading the Civic Center Site and a portion of Orange Avenue in the City of South San Framcieco''r, which plans and specifics, tions are hereby adopted for doing said work and are now on file in the. office of the City Clerk, to which plazas and specifications reference is hereby made for a description of said work. RESOLVED-that said Board of Trustees hereby rejects alisaid proposals or bids except that next hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing s~id work and improvement to the lowest bid.der, to-wi~: Larsen Bros. at the prices named in their bid, to-wit: Item A Excavation :'~$-.60 per-~cubic y.ard; Item B $.60 per cubic yard; Itam C $.005 per square foot; Item D $.$0 per cubic yard, Item E $.50 per cubic yard; Item F $.001 per square foot. The President of the Board o-f Trustees and the City Clerk are hereby author- ized and directed in the na;.~e of the City of South San Francisco and under its corporate seal to enter inZo an agreement with said Larsen Bro~,. for doing said work.
