NO. 58
WHEREAS the Board of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco did,in open session
on the 20th. day of June,1927 publicly open,examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids
for doing all the improvement work described in Resolution of Intention No.58 which resolution
of intention was pass, ed and 'adopted by t~e Boar~. of Trustees of'the City of South San Francisco
on the 18th. day of A]?ril,1927,to which resolution ~ intention reference is hereby made for
a description of said work and the assessment district in said resolution described.
Notice is hereby given that serial bonds to represent ~xpaid asses~.ments and bear interes~
at the rate of seven {?) per cent per annmn will be issued hereunder in the manner specified
in the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915", and the amendments thereto,the last installment of which
bonds shall amture nine 19) years from the ~nd day of July ,ne~¢t' succeeding Can (lC) months from
their date.
E:~cept as hereinbefore provided,all of the herein proposed work sha].l be done in i.~ursuanc~
of ~m act of the Legislature of the State of ~alJfornia,designated as the "Improvement Act of
1911", approved April 7,1911,and the amendments ~hereto.
Resolved that said Board of Trustees ~ereby rejects all said proposals or bids except
that next herein mentioned,and herby awards the contra~t for doing said work and improvement
to the lowest responsible b~dder,to-wit: A.G.Raisch
at the prices named in His Bid, to -wit:
Gradzno Eighty (80) cents per cubic yard;
Six (6) inch concrete curb,Forty-Five (&5) cents per lineal foot;
Combined concrete curb and gutters Eighty-eight (88) cents per lineal foot;
RedwoodRedwood header Board Eight (8) cents per lineal foot. ~
Five (~) inch concrete pavement, TWenty -Four IE&) cents per'square foot
Four I&) inch concrete base pavement with one and one half (1-~) inch ~asphaltic
concrete top,~enty -Three t~Z) cents per square foot; Oement concrete sidewalk,
Thirteen llZ) cents per square Foot;
Six (6) ~nch' sewers,Sixty~ {60).cents· per linealo.~ ~fg°t;

The ci$~ Clerk is hereby directed to post notice of this award conspicuously for Pi~e
15) days on or near the Co~uacil Chamber door of this Bo~.rd and also to publish this
notice by two 12) insertions in" The Emterprise and the South San Francisco Journal", a
weekly newspaper printe~ and. published in said City and. hereby designate~ for tha'~ purpose
by said Board of Tru'~ees.
