?fHEREAS,upon a thorough investigation made by the City Co~cil off said City, it has been
ascertained that, iff larger wtare mains and more extended ffacilities flor the service and distribut~d~
off water are ¥,rovided at certain locatJo .s in said City,ffire insurance comi~anies will reduce their
-rates or premi~ mow charged for such insurance in said City off South E~ ~rancisco ~o such and
exten~ that a saving in excess off Seven Thousand ~ollars (~7,000.00) per anntm will be realized
by persons,ffirms,,nd corporations ownin~.~ ~ro~erty., and carrying ffire insurance thereon in said City',
~HERLAS,ii~ order to procure such reduce~ rates off ~remit~ flor ffire insurance it will
essary to :rovide and install the ffaci!i~ies described in and set fforth upon that certain statement
designated as "South San F~ancisco ]~stimate", which statement was filled in the offffice off the City
Clerk off the City off °outh
