WHEREAS it seems desirable that the various municipalities comprising the Bay ReEion
ABOUT S,~u Francisco Bay should be includld as a portion of the ~etropolitan Area,and
WHEREAS,the City of South San Francisco is logic, ally a part of the ~etrop~litan Area.
Now,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of South San Francisco hereby respectfully
requests the United States Bureau of 0ensus that it be includ~ in the general census of the
San Francisco Bay Region I~etropolitan Area,and request such Census Bureau to establish a
~etropolitan Area,including this with other cozm~unities in s~tch Bay Region in the 19ZO Certs. us.
