on the 23rd.day of January,1928 publicly open. e::amine aud declare all sealed proposals
or bids for the construction of'a fire house ih the City of £outh San Francisco upon the land
hereinafter described,in accordance with the i:.lans and s~'~ecifications adopted by said City
Co-~cil on the 2gth day of Decmenber,1927, and now on file in the office of the City Clerk.
RESOLVED that said City Council hereby rejects all said proposals or bids e:~ceit
that next hereinafter mentioned and her~,by awards the contract for constructing said fire house
to Angelo Zang~ndo , at the price named in his bid ,to-wit: Eighty-three Hundred
and Seventy Five Dollars 1~8375.00) being proposition No.1 in said proposals
The land hereinbefore referred to is situate in the City of S~uth San ~'rancis co ,County
of San Mateo,State of California,and particularly described as follows,to-wit:
Beginning at a point on the northerly line of Swift Avenue (Formerly ~¥alker Avenue) in the
City of South San 2rancisco. Said point being distant S.56~ ~7' 18" E.10.10 feet and N.Z5° 22' 42"
E. 50' feet from a granite monument set in the center line of Swift Avenue at the first angle point
e~'.~* of the Southern iOacific Railroad; runnlng thence n.56° ZT' 18" W. along the northerly line
of said Swift Avenue 25.60 feet;thence continuing al ng the northerly line of Swift Avenue S.89°
~B' Z0" W.84.40 feet; thence leaving said northerly tine of Swift Avenue and ru~ming N.35° 22' 42"
E. 246.59 feet;thence S.56° Z7'15" E.95.98 ~ett and S.ZZ° 22'42" W. 200.00 feet to the point of
beginning.
Containing .48 Acres and being a portion of the Buri-Buri Rancho.
The Mayor of ss, id City and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed, in the name
of said City of South San Francisco and under its corporate seal,to enter into an agreement with
said Angelo ZanMrando in accordance with the ~'rovisions of this resolution.
