RESULT OF GENER_&L ELECTION hLELD IN THE CITY
OF SOb~H SfuN FPJ~NCISCO ON APRIL 9th.19SS.
WHEREAS a General. Election was held in the and through the City of South San Francisco
on the '.th. day ofr. ukpril,1928,for the eleciion of three councilmen for full term and One
councilman for short term of said City of South San Francisco,a City Clerk and City Treasurer;'
and
WHEREAS the City Clerk of s~id City has duly presented to the City Council of said
City of South San Francisco all the returns of the votes cast at said election; and '~HER~S said City Council has inspected and examine~ all said retBrns;

City Council finds a~ follows: The whole number of' votes cast in said City"is One Thousand
Pour Hundred and Thirteen (141Z); the names of the persons ~oted for at the said' General

Said City Council of the City of South San Frandisco hereby declares
that said Reese Lloyd,~[ichael I~Iinucciani,and Roderick Tibbetts were each duly elected at said
Gemeral I,!unicipal Election as Councilmen of the City of South San Fr~cisco for the full term of
four (4) years and that said Andrew H~n~ding was duly elected at ,said General i~iunicipal Election
as Councilman of the City of South San Fr~cisco for the short term of two IE) years,and tSat
Daniel ~dcSweeney was duly elected City Clerk of said City for the term of four IS) years, and
Edward Phil!ip Y~auffma~n was duly elected as Treasurer of said City for the term of four 14) ~ears
The Clerk shall enter on the records of the council a statement of the result of the elction
showiug Il) the whole n~uv~ber of vo~es cast in said City; ~) the names of the persons voted for
and the propositions voted u~on; ~Z) the office which each persons was voted for; ~) the nmnber of
votes .~iven at each precinct to each of such persons,and foran~ against each of such propositions
and I~ the n~ber of votes given in said City to each of such persons,and for and against eac$~
of such propositions voted upon.
The~'Clerk shall immediately make an~ deliver to each of such persons elected a certificate
of election, signed by him and duly authenmcated; h~e sh~ll also impose the constitutional oath
of office and have them subscribe thereto,whereupon they shall be inducted into the res]?ective office:
to which they have been elected.
Said City Council $o~s hereby further de~lare that said Proposition No.1 was duly rejected
at said election and that said Proposition No.£ was duly adopted at said election.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularl~ introduced and adopted by the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco,this 16th. day of Alril,1928, by the following vote:
Ayes, Councilmen. Andrew Hynding, Reese Lloyd,M.Minucciani,Roderick Tibbetts and A.J.Eschelbach.
