Whereas the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, in open
session, on the 4th day o~ June, 1928, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed
proposals or bids for furnishing to the City of South San Francisco two thousand
(B000) feet of fire hose of two and one- half (2 1/2) inch diameter and five hundred
[500) feet of fire hose' of one and one-half inch [l 1/2) diamater, in accordance
with the specifications 'adopted by said City Council on tae lath day of May, 1928,
and now on file in the office of the City Clerk.
RESOLVED that said City Council hereoy rejects all said proposals or bids
except that next hereinafter mentioned, and hereby 'awards the contract for furnishing
said fire hose to said City of Souti~ San Francisco to The American Rubber Manufactur-
ing Company at the price named in its bid, to-wit: Fifteen Hundred and Twenty Dollars
I$1~0.00).
The Mayor of said City and t~e City Clerk are hereby aul~orized and directed,
in the name of said Cisy of Sou~n San Francisco and Under its 'corporate seal, ~o
enter into an agreement with said The American Rubber ManufacSuring Company, in
accordance with the provisions of tais resolution.
