l~a:s~nt to statute and to the resolution of the Cit~ Council of the City of
South San ~ran~isco, directing this notice,
Notice is hereby, given that said Cit~ Council, in open session, on the 30th day of July
1928, publicly opened, examined az~l declared all sealed proposals or bids for d~ing all the
improvement work described in the Resolution of Intention No, 60, which ResolUtion of Intention
was passed and adopted by said City Council on the 4th day of June, 192S, to which Resolution
of Intention reference is hereby made for a description of said work and the assessment dis-
trict in said Resolution of Intention described.
And thereafter on the 6th day of August, 1928, awarded the c~ntract for said work to
the lowest responsible bidder, to-wit, Hanrahan Company, a corporation, at the prices named in
its bid, to-wit:
Grading, ~ifty (50) cents per cubic yard, combined cement'.concrete curbs and gutters,
Sixty (601 cents per linssl foot; cement concrete sidewalks, ~ourteen (14) cent. per square foot;
2 inch h~6 inch redwood header boards, Eight (8) cents per lineal foot; ~ cement concrete pavement
~ifteen (15) cents per square foot; asphaltic concrete pavement two inches in thickness l~id on
an asphaltic concrete base four inches in thickness, ~ifteen and 0ne-half )15-1/21 cants per
squ~re foot; asphaltic concrete pavement three inches in thickness laid on an asphaltic con-
crete base fottr inches in thickness, Eighteen (181 cents per square foot; brick storm water
catch basin~s,.Sixty-two (621 Dollars each; storm sewer manholes, six. ty-three (65~ Dollars
each; ten (10} inch storm sewers, Ninety (90] cents per lineal foot, Eighteen inch storm swwer
One and 20/100 Dollars !$1.20) per lineal foot; four (41 inch lateral sewers, ~ifty (501 cents
per lineal foot; six (6] inch by four inch wye branches, One Dollar ~$1.00~ each.

That he is now and was during all the time herein mentioned, the duly elected, qualified
and acting City Clerk of the City of South San ~raucisco, in the aforesaid County and State;
that, pursuant to statute and to the order of the City Council of said City, he duly posted a
notice annexed hereto, conspicuously for ave (5) d~ys near the Covncil 0hamber
Door of sai~ Council; that Said no~ioe was posted for the first time as slate-
said, on the 2Ath my of August, 1928, and was kept continually posted to the
let day of October, 19~8.
