PORTION 0F INDUSTRIAL WAY.
Wi~RF~S the City Council of the City of South Sau Francisco, a municipal corporation
in the County of San Mateo, State of California, did, on the 20thday of August, 1928, pass
a resolution declaring its intention to order the following work to be done in said City,
to-wit: ~
That that portion of Industrial Way, in said City of South S~n Francisco, described
as follows:
A strip of said Industrial Way tw~enty [20) feet in width and bordering upon the
easterly boundary line of said Industrial Way, be vacated and closed up in whole, to which
said resolution of intention now in file in said n~tter reference is ~hereby made for fur-
ther particulars and the same is made a part hereof;
~JHEREAS the Street Superintendent of said City of South San Francisco did thereu?on
cause notice of the passage of said resolution to be posted and published in the manner and
form required by law and by said res~'~.lution of intention, reference being hereby made for
further particulars to the affidavit of George A. Kneese, said Street Superintendent,
and to the affidavit of A. E. Brand,cie, which affidavits are now on file in said
matter in the office of the City Clerk of said City Council and are r~de a part
hereof; and
W~REAS no written objections or protests against said proposed work, or
against any portion thereof, were at any time filed with or received by the Clerk
of said City Council, or this City Council at ~ny time subsequent to the publication
of the .said notices hereinbefore ~ention~d; and
Yft~REAS, after mOre than ten days had elapsed after the expiration of the
time of publication of said notice, said City Council did, on the l?th day of
December, 1928, pass a resol;~tion wherein that portion of Industrial Way, in said
City of South San Francisco, described as follows:
A strip of'said Industrial Way tw~onty [20) feet in widht and bordering
u~-on the easterly boundary line of said Industrial Way, was vacated, abandoned,
discontinued and closed up, to which resolution referenceis hereby m~de and the
sa~e is made a part hereof; and
WHFLqEAS~ the legal title to the land hereinbefore described is vested
in South San ~rancisco Land and Improvement Company, a corporation organized and
e~:isting under the laws of the State of California, and the right of the C~_ty of
South San Francisco e~isting bef re the closing of said street or avenue, as
aforesaid, consisted only of an easement therein;
T~i]LREFORE resolved by the City C~uncil of the City of South San Francisco,
that the ~,~ayor of said City of South San Francisco and the City Clerk be, and they
hereby are ~thorized, empowered a~d directed in behalf of said City of South San
Francisco, Io e~c~cute and deliver to South San Francisco Land ~nd Improvement Company,
a corporation orga~'~ized aud e~isting uuder the laws of the State of California,
a qu~tc!aim deed of all the right, title and iuterest of the City of South San Fran-
c:i. sco in ~nd to t~e portion of the stree!' or avenue hereinbefore described.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted, by the City Council of the City of South San Franc'sco at a reg~lar
