WHEREAS the City Council of the ~ity of South San Francisco did, in
open session, on the ?th day of January, 19~9, publicly open, examine and declare
all sealed proposals or bids for constructing a sewer and two (2~ manholes in a
portion of Swift Avenue in said City of South Sah'Pranclsco in accordance with the
plans and specifications adopted by said City Council therefor on the 3rd day of
December, 19£8, and now on file in the office of the City Clerk, and at the
locations shown upon said plans.
RESOLYED that said City Council hereby rejects all said proposals
or bids except that next hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract
for.constructing said sewer and manholes to Hugh McGill, at the price named in
his bid, to-wit, Eight hundred eighty seven and 70/100 Dollars ($887,701.
The Mayor of said City and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed in the name of said City of South San Francisco, and under its corporate
seal, to enter into ant agreement with Hugh McGill in accordance with the pro-
visions of this resolution.

I hereby certlfy that the foregoing resolution was regularly Introduced.
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Prancisco, this ?th day
of January, 1929, by the following vote:
