SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO THE INDUSTRIA7,

WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, in open
session, on the 1st day of April, 1929 ~ publicly open, examine and declare all
sealed proposals or bids for %2~e constructio~ of a sign advertising So~th San
Francisco the Industrial City;
RESOLVED that said City Council hereby rejects s, ll said proposals or
bids except that next herein mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing
said work and improvement ~to Cement G~m Construction Company of California, the
lowest responsible bidder at a price named in its bid., to-wit, Nineteen (19) cents
per ~quare foot.
The I~ayor of said City and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and direCted
in the name of said City of South San Francisco to enter into an agreement with said
Cement Gun Construction Company of California for the construction of said sign.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced ~nd
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, this first day of
April, 1929, by the following vote:
