A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 0~~ SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO DIRECTING THE PUBLICATION OF A NOTICE TO
BIDDERS FOR FURNISHING A FORD ROADSTER AUTOMOBILE MODEL
A 19£9 TO THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO.
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that
public interest and convenience require that said Oity should acquire a Ford Roadster Automobile
Model A 1928.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish for two (2) weeks in "The
Enterprise and The South San Francisco Journal" a weekly newspaper of general circulation,
printed and published in said City of South San Francisco, the following notice inviting sealed
,proposals or bids for furnishing such automobile to said City of South San Francisco:

FURNISH A FORD ROADSTER AUTOMOBILE ~IODEL A
1929, TO THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FR~E~CISC0.
Sealed proposals will be received by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco until 7:30 o'clock P. M. on Monday, the 6th day of May, 1929, for furnish-
ing to slid City of South San Francisco a Ford Roadster Automobile Model A 1929.
Each proposal must be accompanied with a certified check upon a sol-
vent bank of the State of California, payable to the City of South San Francisco in an amount
not less than Ten (10) per cent of the aggregate Of the bid upon the condition that if the
proposal be accepted and the contract awarded, and the bidder shall fail and neglect to ex-
ecute the contract, the sum mentioned in said check shall be liquidated damages for such
failure and neglect, and shall be forfeited and paid into the treasuryof the City of South
San Francisco.
Sealed proposals or bids will be delivered to the City Clerk of said
City of South San Francisco, on or before 7:50 o'clock p. m. on Monday, the 6th day of ~,h,,y, 1929e
- All proposals or bids will be opened by said City Council in public
session, on Monday, the 6th day of May, 1929, at 7:30 o'clock p. m. in the Council Chamber of
said City Council.
The City Council hereby reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
