JUSTICE 0P PEACE.
Whereas, If Assembly Bill No. ~A~ becomes a law, the first township of San
County will have only one Justice of the peace; and
Whereas the first township of San Mateo County has a population of more than
twenty-five thousand people and extends over a large area; and
Whereas many people will suffer serious ~inconvenience if there should be only
one justice of the peace in said township;
Resolved by the City Council of the City of South San ~ranciscO that this
Council respectfully requests Governor C. C. Young to veto said bill, if the same has been
enacted by the Legislature of the State of California,'
Be if further resolved that the City Clerk be, and he hereby is directed to
send a copy of this resolution to Governor C. C. Young.
