.RESOLUTION ORDERING THE WORK
NO.' 67
RESOLVED THAT WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did,
on the £3rd day of October, 1929, pass its Resolution'of Intention No. 67, to order the
street work in said resolution of intention to be done in said City, which said resolution
of intetnion was duly and.regularly published ~s required by law, as appears from the
affidavit of A. E. Bramble, now on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS notices of the passage of said resolution of intention No. 67 headed
"Notice of Improvement" were duly and legally posted along the line of said contemplated
work and improvement and in front of all the property liable to be assessed therefor, and
along all the open streets within the district described in said Resolution of Intention,
in form and manner as required by law as appears from the affidavit of Frank McAuliffe, who
after the completion of the poeting of said notices, filed his affidavit in the office of
the City Clerk, making oath that the posting of said notices was completed on the £gth day
of October, 1929; and
WHERFAS at no time has any person delivered to the City Clerk of said City or
to said City Council a written protest against said. work, or any part thereof, or against
the extent of the district hereinafter described, or against both said work ~nd said dis-
trict;
TEEREPORE, BE IT RESOLVED th~, t public interest and convenience require the
street work described in said resolution of intention, and said City Council hereby orders
said street work to be done in said City,
Notice is hereby given that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments and
bear interest at the rate of seven (7) per cent per annum wil'l be issued hereunder in the
manner specified in the "Improvement Bond Act of 19lb" and the amendments thereto, the last
installment of which t~onds shall mature nine (9) years from the ~nd day of July next succeed-
ing ten (10) months from their date.
Except as hereinbefore provided, all of the herein proposed work shall be
done in pursuance of an act of the Legislature of the State of California, designated as
the "Improvement Act of 1911", approved April 7, 1911, and the amendments thereto.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to post a notice oX said work, together
with plans ~nd specifications therefor, conspicuously for five (5) days on or near the
Council Chamber Door inviting sealed proposals for doing the work ordered. He is also
directed to publish a notice inviting such proposals, and referring to the specifications
pos ted or on file by two (2) insertions in "The Enterprise and the South San ~rancisco
Journal", a weekly newspaper published .and cireulated in the City of South San Fran-
cisco, and hereby designated for that purpose.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of ~.he City of South San Francisco, this lSth day of
November, 1929, by the following vote:
