A RESOULTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY O~
SOUTH SAN ~RANCISC0 EMPLOYING SCHARY and EDWARDS
TO PREPARE PRELIMINARY PLANS AND ESTI~,~kTES ~OR
THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SWI~'D~ING POOL IN SAID CITY.
~' RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco.
that Schary and Edwards be, and they are hereby ~mploy. ed to prepare preliminary plans and
estimates for the construction of a swimming~ pool for 'the City of S~uth San Francisco upon
the distinct understanding tha$, if the electors .of the City of South San FranciSco do not
vote at a bond election to be held in said City of South San Prancisco within the six (6)
months following the date of the adoption of this resolution, for the issuance of bonds,
in such an amount as said City Council shall deem suitable, for the construction oi' such
swiming pool, and the acquisition of a suitable site therefor, said City of South San
Francisco shall be under no obligation whatever for the cost of the preparation of such
preliminary plans and estimates.
It is understood, however, if the electors of the City of South
San Francisco shall vote for the- issuance of such bonds said Schary and Edwards are to
be employed by said City of South San Francisco to prepare plans and specifications for
~uch swinm~ing pool and to supervise the construction thereof, and that, in such event,
they shall receive compensation equivalent to six (6) per cent of the price for which
the con.tract for the constr~nction of such swimming pp~ol may ~e awarded.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City-of l~outh San Francisco, this 2nd
day of December, 1929, by the following vote:
