C0~¥LPANY TO IMPROVE PORTION OF BUTLER ROAD.
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that Western Sand and Rock Company be, and ~it hereby is emplosed by said city
of South San Francisco to improve the portion of Butler Road in said city extend-
in~ from a point opposite the southeasterly corner of the Western Pipe and Steel
Company's 12.426 acre tract to the easterly end of the existing rock macadam
travelled way opposite the Wildberg Metal Refining Company's 5.27 acre rtract at
a cost to said city in the amount of Four Hundred and Seventy-five Dollars
($475.00), in accordance with the plans and specifications adopted for said
work by said City Council on the 9th day of December, 1929, provided that the
remaining cost of the performance of said work shall be paid by Western Invest-
ment Company, E. H. Edwards Company, Wildberg Brothers Smelting and Refining Com-
'party, and South San Francisco Land and Improvement Company. If said cor-
porations do not agree to pay all cost of' said improvement work in excess of said
sum of Four Hundred and Seventy-five Dollars ($47~.00), then said city shall not
be under any obligation to pay any part of said sum of Four Hundred and Seventy
five Dollars 1547~.00) and this resolution shall become void and of no effect.
The Mayor o£ said City and the City Clerk are hereby author-
ized, in the name of said City and under its corporate seal ~o enter into an
agreen~nt with said Western San and Rock Company in accordance with the pro-
visions of this resolution.~

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco,
this 17th day of December, 1929, by the ±'ollowing vote:
