OF CONDEN2~TION SUIT ~-G~INST PACIFIC
GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY, et alo
WHEREAS ptiblic convenience and necessity require that a sewer should
be constructed in a portion cf Industrial Way in the City of South San Francisco,
County of San Mateo, State of Californim, and that a swwer to be connected with such sewer
shall be constructed in the land hereinafter described; and
and
WHEREAS said City of South San Francisco intends to construct~such sewers;
WHEREAS Pacific Gas and Electric Company, a corporation and Sierra and
San Francisco Power Company, a corporation, are the owners of Said land;
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the
City Attorney of said City~ be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to commence
an action against said Pacific Gas and Electric Company, and Sierra ~nd San Francisco
Power Company, and all encumbrances of said l~nd for the purposes of obtaining ~
right of way for the construction of a sewer or sewers on the land hereinafter des-
cribed.
The Mayor of said City is hereby ~uthorized and directed, in behalf
of s~id City, and under its corporate name, to sign and verify the complaint for
such acti on.
The land hereinbefore referred to consists of all those certain trac'ts
or parcels of land situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of S~-~n N~teo,
State of C~lifornia, and particularly described as follows, to-wit:
~ARCE~ ONE
A strip of land l~ feet in width extending 7~ feet on either side of the
following described center line:
BEGINNING at a point in the line which divides the lands of Lloyd B. Ham
and Helen M. Ham, his wife from the lands of the Sierra and San Fr~.ncisco Power
Company, said point being distant North ~9° ~0' West 4~" 69.90 feet from the most
Southerly corner of that parcel of land conveyed to the Sierra ~nd San Francisco Power
Company by Lloyd B. Ham and Helen M. Ham, his wife and the Enterprise Foundry Company
by Deed record~ed in Ziber ll4 of Official Records of S n Mateo County at page 34?;
running thence from said point of beginning North21° West 81.69 ~eet; thence on the
arc of a curve to the left with a radius of Z00 feet, a central angle of 6o 00', a
distance of Z1.42 feet; thence North ~7o West 216.49 feet; thence on the arc of a
curve to the left with a radius of ZOO feet, a central angle of 8o ~0' 41" a distance
of 46.Z1 feet to the line which divides the lands of the Pacific Gas and Electric
Company fro~ the Font~a Food Products Company.
PARCEL TWO
A strip of land l~ feet in width extending 7~ feet on either side o£ the
following described center line.
BEGINNING at a point in the Westerly line of San Br~mo Road, Said point
being distant North 40o 04' 42" East ~Z.Z~ feet and North ~l° ~8' 18" ~est ZZ.02 feet
from a monument identified as ~ionument No. Z as same appears on that certain map
entitled "~LiP OF ~ SURVEY ~JL~DE ~0R P. E. ILER, OF LANDS ?URC~ASED IN THE BURI BURI
RANCHO AND SECTIONS 21-22-23-26-~? and 28 TOWNSHIP Z SOUTH RANGE ~ WEST," recorded
in Book "E" of Maps at page 79, San ~ateo County Records (said monument No. Z being
now marked by a nail in the denter of San Bruno Road); running thence from said point
of beginning North 51° ~8' 18" West l~.l~ feet; thence on the arc of a curve to the
right with a radius of 2000 feet a central angle of 4° 58' 18" a distance of
l?3.B~ feet to a point of reverse curve; thence on the arc of a curve to the
left with a radius of 925 feet a central angle of 4o ~8' 52", a distance of
?~.9~ feet, the tangent to said curve at its beginning bearing North ~o West
to the Westerly line of the Sierra and San Francisco Power Comp~uy's land as conveyed
to them by the South San Francisco Land and Improvement Company by deed recorded
in Liber 218 of Official Records of San ~ateo County at page

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution w~s regularly introduced
and adopted by the~City Council of the City Of South San Francisco this 21st day
of December, 1929, by the following vote:
