HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 302-1930RESOLUTION DESIGNATING LINDEN AVENUE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that, the land situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of' San ~4~teo, State of California. amd particularly described as follows: PARCEL 0NE. A strip .of land 60.2 feet wide measured at right angles to, and' adjacent northerly to the northerly line of that certain subdivision as shown on a certain m~p entitled "Map of Blocks l, 2 & ~ San Bruno Park 5th Addition, San Mateo Co., Cal'." filed for record November 12th, 1906, in Volume B of Maps at page ll, San Mateo County'Records; and extending from the westerly right of.way line of the Southern Pacific Company's line known as the Bay Shore cut-off, to the easterly right of way line of the Southern Pacific Company's Valencia Street Branch. PARCEL TWO.' A strip of land 60 feet in width adjacent and parallel to the westerly right of way line of the Southern Pacific Company's line known as the Bay Shore cut-off, extending from a line parallel with and distant 60.2 feet measured at right angles northerly from the norhterly line and its extension easterly of that certain subdivision as shown on that Map entitled "Map of Blocks l, 2 & 5, San Bruno Park 5thAddition, San Mateo Co., Cal." as filed for record November l£th, 1906, in Volume B of Maps at page ll, San Mateo County Records, and extending northerly to the southerly line of Linden Avenue. PARCEL THREE. Astrip of land 60 feet in width being Z0 feet measured at right angles on either side of the following described centerline: Beginning at the intersection of the southerly extension of the center- line of Linden Avenue with the southerly line of Railroad Avenue in the City of South San Francisco, California; running thence South l~° JZ' west Z296.07 feet; thence curving to the left on the arc of a Z?~ feot r~dius cur~e, with a central angle of 80o Ol' 2~", a distance of 82Z.7~ feet; thence south 6Av 28' East 60 feet more or less to the westerly right of way line of the Southern Pacific Company's line ~nown as the Bay Shore cut-off. PARCEL FOUR. BEGINNING at the most northerly corner of that certain 5.8~9 acre tract described in deed from South San Franc~co Land and Improvement Company to the Robert Dollar Company, recorded in Volume 436 of 0fficiai Records of San Mateo County at page 89; running thence from said point of beginning along the southwesterly line of Linden Avenue N~r~.'~$4° 287 24~:[West.?,27 feet; thence ~on the arc of a curve to the right having a radius of 405 feet a distance of 5,51 feet; thence southeasterly on the arc of a curve to the right having a radius of 20 feet a distance of 10,85 feet said curve.being tangent at its point of beginning to a line bearing South 630 ~1' 40w East. thence along the northerly line of said 5.849 acre tract North 65o 20' 42" East 3,89 feet to the point of beginning, · for which a deed has been received.by said City Council ' from South San Francisco Land and Improvement Company for the purposes icl a . public highway, be' and the same hereby are designated as Linden Avenue. -,-,-,-,-,-,-,-,-,-,.
