GORDON ROWE CONPANY TO ESTABLISH A FILING
SYSTEM IN THE CITY HALL IN THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANC ISC0.
WHEREAS publish convenience and necessity in the City of South San ~ran-
cisqo require that there should be a complete and adequate system for filing in the
City Hall in said City; and
WHEREAS $ordon Rowe Company, public accountants and auditors, have'offer-
ed to install a complete and adequate system of filing such records, at the charge of
Fifteen Dollars 1515.00~ per day for their services over a period of time not to ex-
ceed~ one hundred (t00~ days and have offered to perform all said work for a sum of
money not exceedingj~Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1500.00), and agree to complete the in-
stallation of ~uch fili~ng system wilhin the period of four (41 months from and after
the date of the execution of an agreement betwen said City of South San Francisco
and said Gordon Rowe Company for said work, and agree, upon the completion of such
installation of said filing system, to check, examine and regulate filing procedure;
NOW, THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South Ban
hlrancisco that said Gordon Rowe Company be. and the same is hereby employed'to in-
stall such filing system, and that payment of the cost of said work shall be ma~e
at. the following times: ~
One-fourth ~m,~ thereof, on the second day of March, 19~2, one-fourth
~ thereof on the second day of June. 19~2, one-fourth ~ thereof~on the second
day of September, 19~, and one-fourth I~) thereof on the second day of December,
19 .~2.
It is understood that the work provided for in this resolution shall
include the assembling and classification of the City Clerk'S ~iles for a period
of twenty-three ~2~) years~ and the straigh~ and cross-indeming and filing of all
correspondence, doc~nnents and records in the City Clerk's office during said period
of twenty-three ('2~1 years, and the indexing and cross-indexing of all other'
municipal records from the organization of said City of South San Francisco to the
date of the completion of the work provided for in this resolution.
I t is also understood, that, should the performance of such work re-
quire more th~n one hundred (100) days, no additional charge will be made for any
time in exces~ of one hundred (100) day~.
The Mayor of said City and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed in the name of said City of ~outh San Francisco and under its corporate
s~eal to enter into an agreement with said Gordon Rowe Company in accordance with
the provisions in thi~ resolution.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly in-
troduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, this
7th day of December, 19Z1, by the following vote:
