RESOLUTION 0F AWARD.
NO, 73
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, in
open session on the 19th day of October, 1931, publicly open, examine and declare
all sealed proposals or bids for doing all the improvement work described in
Resolution of Intention No. 73~, which resolution of intention was adopted by the
City Councii of the City of South ~an Francisco on the 10th day of August, 1931,
to which resolution of intention reference is hereby made for a description of said
work, and the assessment district in said resolution of intention described.
Notice is hereby given that serial bonds to represent unpaid assess-
ments a~nd bear interest at the rate of seven (?~ per cent per annum will be issued here-
under in the manner specified in the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915" and the amendments
thereto, the last installment of which bonds shall mature nine (91 years from the 2nd
day of ,July next succeeding ten ~101 months from their date.
Except as hereinbefore provided, all of the herein proposed work shall
be done in pursuance of an act of the Legislature of the State of California, de-
signated as the "Improvement Act of 1911". approved April ?. 1911, and the amendments
thereto. ~
Resolved:t~at said City Council hereby rejects all said proposals
or bids except that next herein mentioned, and hereby awards 'the contract for doing
said work and improvement to the lowest responsible bidder, to-wit: Walker,Martin
Corporation Ltd..,, at the prices named in its bid. to-wit: J
Sixteen Thousand Three Hundred and Fifty-five Dollars 1516,355.00~.
The City ~erk is hereby directed to po~t notices of this award con-
spicuously for five (6),'days on or near the Council Chamber Door of this council,
and also to publish this notice by two (2) insertions in "The Enterprise and The
South San Francisco JournalV.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South Ban Francisco. this ?th day of
