AUTOMOBI LE.
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South Ban Francisco did, in open
session oh the ?th day of December. 1931,. publicly open, examine and declare all
sealed proposals or bids for furnishing to the City of South San Francisco a Buick
automobile of the type designated as Model 32-8? Regular, such automobile to have
a wheel base one hundred and twenty-six 1126) inChes in length, one hundred and
four ~104) horse power and to be equipped with 18-700 tires, and also has opened
all sealed proposals to purchase the Buick touring car now owned by said City of
South San Francisco;
RESOLVED that said City Council hereby rejects said proposals or bids,
except that next hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for fur-
nishing said Buick automobile to said City of South Ban Francisco, to M. Belli Co.,
Ltd. at the ~rice named in its bid, to-wit Nineteen' Hundred and Thirty-seven
Dollars ~$1937~. It is understood that shatter proof glass and covers for up-
holsterings are eliminated from the basis of this awa~rd.
This award is made upon the condition that the bidder hereinbefore
mentioned shall purchase fr~m sai~ City the Buick touring car now owned by said
CLty for the sum of' Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250.00~, ~nd that the amount of
,sale'purchase price~last hereinbefore mentioned shall be applied uron the purchase
~price for the Buick autbmobile for which the contract is hereby awarded in this
res oluti on.
The Mayor of said City of South San Francisco and the City Clerk of said
City are hereby authorized and directed, in the corporate name of said City of
South San Francisco and under ~its corporate seal, to enter into an agreement with
the bidder tb whom said contract is hereby awarded for the purchase of said new
Buick automobile by said City of South San Francisco, and for the sale to said
bidder of the Buick touring car now owned by said City~ and also to execute in
behalf of said City, such documents as are necessary to transfer to said successful
bidder the title to the Buick toe,ring car now owned by said City.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South Ban Francisco, this llth day
of December,~ 1931. by the following vote:
