OF It PORTION OF CO~
~SOLVED by the City Co~mcil of the City of South San Francisco that said
City Co,oil hereby determines that ~e portion of Colma Creek, which passes
through the t~ark site belonging to said City of South San Francisco and loaated
in the vicinity of Or~-~nge Avenue Extension in said City, is in such condition by
reason of the accum~lation of great quantities of silt in said portions of said
creek, that the improvement work heretofore t. erfo~ed upon said park site is now
in danger of. becoming'
a ~ .~ damaged b~r floods which are liable to result from
rains to be 'e~ected at this season of the year;

said portion of Colma Creek and the damage which said City Council believes
to exist with respect to said p~rk site an8 the improvements the~eon, an emergency
now exists with rePsect to said im?r0ven~ents on said park site and said City Co~cil
hereby determine t~t publle interest and necessity de~and the i~eidate ex-
penditure of public money in orde'r to safeguard said property of said City, and said
City Council hereby orders that the work of cleaning snd excavating said Fo~rtion
of~ said Colms~ Creek be done, and ~at the Chairman of the Street Committee of said
Cit~ Council be, and is hereby ordered and d~rected to !rocure ~ll labor and im-
plements necessary to perform ~aid work. ~
