HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 372-1932358 TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO: South San Francisco Land and Improvement Company, a corporation, hereby requests permission for itself, its successors and assigns, to lay and construct, l~e~ir, i~e- construct, maintain and operate beneath the surface of the earth at the locations herein- after mentioned in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of Calif- ornia, pipes for the purposes of carrying and transmitting water. Said So~th San Fran- cisco Land and Improvement Compan~ proposes to lay and construct 'any pipes, for which per- mission may be given by the City Council of said City, in such a manner as not to interfere with the use of any part of the land, in and through which the same may be laid and con- structed, by the public for any public use, and also in such a manner that the same will not interefere with the exercise of any easement now owned in any of the land hereinafter referred to by any perso~n, persons or public or private corporation, and to strictly observe all ordinances and regulations of said City of South San Francisco governing the digging of trenches in streets and highways in said City and the backfilling of the same, and to pro- vide for the protection of persons and property from injury ~rising from the digging of such trenches. The locations in which permission tc lay water pipes is hereby requested are as followm: 1. Across the portion of Linden Avenue between the southerly line of Railroad Avenue and a line drawn at right angles to the center line of Linden Avenue three hundred (300~' feet westerly from the intersection of said Linden Avenue wi th the westerly boundary line of the right of way of the Bayshore line of the Southern Pacific Company. 2. All that certain tract or parcel of lan~ situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, and particularly described as follows, to-wit: A strip of land ten (10) feet in width and lying five (~) feet on each side of the fol.lowing described center-line, to-wit: BEGINNING at a point in the easterly line of the right-of-way of the S~uthern Pacific Company, in the City of South San Francisco said point~.~~ bein~ distant North 13° 20' 16" East 4?3.Z1 feet and North ~8° 41' 1~" West 10~.~7~ feet from a granite monument designated as Mon. ~6 set in the center of San Bruno Road, as shown on that certain map entitled, "Survey of a portion of ~he Burl Burl Rancho etc. for P.E. Iler, etc." recorded March 10, 1891, in Mol. E. of Ma~s at page 79, San ~ateo County Records; R~NNING thence from said point of beginning South §8° 41' 14" East ~.00 feet; thence parallel and distant ~ feet easterly from the Southern Pacific Company right-of-way on a curve to the right having a radius o~ 5316.§6 feet a distance of 6~.00 feet, the chord of said curve bearing North Z1° 28' 14" East 6~.00 feet; thence South §$o 41' 14" East 102.7~ feet; thence South ~4° 31' l~', East ll.Z9 feet to a point on the easterly boundary line of San Bruno Road. ~, The portion of Swift Avenue lying between the southerly side of the portion of said Swift Avenue now occupied by the track oi' South San Francisco Railroad and Power Company, a corporation, and the northerly edge of the gutter on the south side of ~aid Swift Avenue and extending from the easterly line of the right of way of the Southern Pacific Corn?any to the northerly production of the easterly line of that certain 2.202 acre tract conveyed by the South San Francisco Land and Improvement Company, a cor- poration, to Western Meat Company, a corporation, by deed recorded April 16, 1917, in Book 261 of Official Records at page ~00 and described as Parcel "B", in the office of the County Recorder of said County of San Mateo..
