WHE?J~AS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, on the
~ duly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals for
~°0th day of klarch, 19~,
furnishing to said City the Chevrolet automobile of the type hereinafter designated:
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South Ean Francisco that said
City Council does hereby reject all said se~2ed proposals except that ne~t hereinafter
mentioned, and hereby awards to ~. Belli Co., Ltd. the contract for furnishing to
said City a Chevrolet automobile of the type designated as 19ZZ model Standard Coupe
for the sum of Seven Humdred and Six and no/100 Dollars (~?06.00}.
~aid City Comncil hereby accepts the offer of said ~i. Belli Co., Ltd. to
purchase the Ford Coupe now owned by said City of South San Francisco and used in the
Fire Dep~rtment in said City for the sum of One Humdred and Forty Dollars ($140.00~.
Eaid last mentioned sum of money shall be deducted from the sum of money first nere-
Inbefore ~entioned smd the warrant of said City of ~outh ~an Francisce shall be
issued to said i~. Belli Co. Ltd. for the sum of Five Hundred and Si~:ty-six Dollars
Said Chevrolet automobile shall have a wkeel base of one hundred and ten
(lI0} inches in lenMth and shall be e~uipped with bumpers, tire lock and five
5:~xl8 balloon tires, either Goodyear, Goodrich or U. S. Royal make. The motor
shall be of ~he six (6) cylinder va]ve-in-head type, with rositive ~ressure feed
to crank shaft main bearings, c~m shaft bearings and valve rocker arms, Said
~utomobi!e shall be e~uipped with Vane type pump in crank case, oil pressure ~uage
in instrument vanel crank case ventilator cyncro mesh silent second design.
The President of sa~d City Council and the City Clerk are hereby author-
ized and directed in the name of said City of 3outh San Francisco and under its
corporate seal, to, execute to said successful bidder ~ll documents necessary to
transfer the title of said FOrd COupe from said City of South San ~'rancisco to said
successful bidder.
