HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 444-1933CAZI~0RNIA WATER gERVICE CORPORATION RELINQUISHING CHARGE 0F $~6E5.82 KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS That City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation in the County of San M~teo, State of California, the party of the first part, for and in consid- eration of the release of said City~ of South San.~Francisco in the amount of Twenty- six Hundred and Twenty-five and 82/100 Dollars ($2625.82), now dur from said party of the first part to California Water Service Compauy, a corporation, the party of the second part', said party of the first part does hereby grant, transfer and convey to said party of the second part all the right, title and interest of said party of the first part in and to all pipes connecting the hydrants owned by said party of the first part and located at the places hereinafter mentioned, with the water mains to which said hydrants are respectively connected. The hydrants hereinbefore referred to are located in the places hereinafter designated in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State 'of California, and described as follows: Railroad Avenue between Spruce Avenue and Magnolia Avenue, east of center of block; Railroad Avenue between Spruce Avenue and Maple Avenue, west of center of block; Railroad Avenue between Spruce Avenue an~d Maple Avenue, east of center of block; Railroad Avenue and Maple Avenue; Railroad Avenue and Orange Avenue; Armour Avenue and Olive Avenue; Third Street and C Street, Los Oerftos Tract; Third Street and A Street, Los Ceritos Tract; First Street and A Street, Los Ceritos Tract; Second Street and A Street, Los Ceritos Tract; Industrial Way at Pacific Coast Steel Corporation Spur Track; Industrial Way and Butler Road; Industrial Way opposite Pacific l~oast Steel Corporation Pattern Shop; Industrial Way opposite Pacific Coast Steel Corporation office; Parkway and Walnut Avenue; Pine Terrace between Parkway and Maple Avenue; Cypress Avenue and Lux Avenue; Linden Avenue and Lux Avenue; Linden Avenue and Railroad Avenue; Linden A~venue and Armour Avenue; Miller Avenue and Walnut Avenue; Chestnut Avenue at Reservoir No. 2; Linden Avenue and Aspen Avenue; Cypress Avenue and Aspen Avenue; Juniper Avenue between ~inden Avenue and' Cypress Avenue; Cypress Avenue and Pine Avenue; Cypress Avenue and California Avenue; Linden Avenue ~nd Calif- ornia Avenue; Linden Avenue- and Pine Avenue; Linden Avenue and Miller Avenue; Linden Avenue and Baden Avenue; ~aden Avenue and .Cypress Avenue; Butler Road at Southern Pacific Company Tracks on west side of tracks; Linden Avenue and 9th 'Lane; Linden Avenue opposite the property of A. J. and J. L. Fairbank~ Company, on west side of Linden Avenue; Chestnut Avenue and Miller Avenue; Palm Avenue and Poplar Avenue; and Poplar Avenue between Palm Avenue an~ Parkway. It is distinctly understood and agreed by snd between the parties hereto that this bill of sale shall not be construed as a transfer of any interest of said party of the first: part in or to any one of said hydrants and that said party of the second part hereby acknowledges that all said hydrants are now, and shall hereafter continue to be the property of said party of the first part notwithstanding anything herein contained. IN WITNESS WHEREOF said party of the first part has caused its corporate name to be hereunto subscribed by the President of'the City Council of said City of South San Francisco, and its corporate seal to be hereunto affixed by its City Clerk, first thereunto duly authorized, this 29th day of June, 1933.
