HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 449-1934428 RESOLUTION URGING JOINT USE 0F TRANSBAY BRIDGE TRACKS AND OTHER FACILITIES BY SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY AND WESTERN PACIFIC RAII~AT CONPANY BET- WEEN NILES AND SAN FRANCISCO. RESOZVED that the City Council of the City of, South San Francisco approve and endorse the action of Honorable John J. EcGrath, Nember of the Congress of the United States from the Eighth District of California, in urging a Joint use of trans- by bridge tracks and other facilities by Southern Pacific Company and Western Pacific Railway Company between Niles and San Francisco, California, via RedwOod City; FURTHER RESOZVED that th~ welfare of the peninsula between San Francisco and San Jose would be promoted by providing entry of Western Pacific Railway Company into San Francisco via the peninsula to the south thereof. FURTHER RESOZVED that a copy of this resolution be sent to Honorable John J. NcGrath and to other municipalities on the peninsula., Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of South San Francisco held on the 5th day of February, 19~4, by the following vote~ Ayes, aud for the adoption: Noes, None Absent, None ( sm]; ) Councilmen Victor Boido, Reese Zloyd, Rod Tibbetts, ~.
