RESOLUTION GP~NTING RE~UND OF TAXES
TO A. J. ESCHELBACH THE ACCOUNT 0F
~Tr, ECTRICAT, RESEARCH PRODUCTS, INC.
WHEREAS~ it appears that the sound equipment in the State Theatre
was assessed in the amount of Ten Thousand Dollars for the fiscal year
19~E-19~8 and also for the fiscal year 19~-19~4 and that this assessment
is ten times the amount for which said sound eq~ ipment should be assessed
and that said assessment is confiscatory; and that the sum of $~1.8~,
the amount of the taxes levied upon the basis of said assessment, is in
excess of what can be lawfully required of the owner of said property
and that the tax which should be paid thereon is the s~nn of $~.~0;
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City ef South San Fraucisee
that the sum of SE98.SZ be, and the same hereby is refunded to Bayshore
Theater Inc.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adgpted by tbs City Council of the 8ity of South
San ~ancisco this 15th day of October, 19~4, by the following vote;-
