WHEREAS on the 10th day of June, 1935, the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco adopted a certain resolution direct~ng the publication of
a notice calling for sealed proposals or bids for the removal of all weeds in the
parking areas and the areas between sidewalks and property lines of the streets
shown upon the platted areas of the City of South San Francdsco on which areas
weeds may ex~st at the t~me of the e×ecvtfon of the agreement as contemplated in
said resolution, to which resolution reference is hereby made for further
particulars; and
WHEREAS said City. Council did, in open session, on the 2~th day of
June, 1935, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed' proposals or bids for
said work; and
WEEREAS only two bids or proposals were submitted for doing said work
and in each of said bids or proposals the b~dder submitted a price of two cents
($.02) per lineal foot for doing said work; and
WHEREAS the City Co~mcil believes that said price is a reasonable price
for said work and Angelo Nonettini and Frank Parenti, the bidders who submitted
said proposals respectively, are willing to enter into a contract with said City
for the performance of s~id work at said orice per lineal foot;
RESOLVED that said City Council hereby awards the contract for the
removal of said weeds to said Angelo ~onettini and Frank Parenti at the unit price
of Two Cents ($.0B) per lineal foot.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, this 25th day
of June, 193~, by the following vote:
