RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the mayor
of said city and the city clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and directed, in
behalf of said City of South San Francisco and in its corporate name, to execute an
agreement between Southern Pacific Railroad Company, a corporation, and Southern Pacific
Company, a corporation, as grantors, and said City of South San Francisco, as grantee,
wherein said grantors grant to said grantee an easement for the construction, maintenance
and operation of a drainage canal and appurtenances, across and beneath the property and
tracks of said grantors in the land described as follows:
A parcel of land situated, lying and being
in the City of South San Francisco, County of San
Mateo, State of California, being more particularly
described as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at a point on the southerly line
of Southern Pacific Railroad Company's right of way
(as acquired by deed September 19, 1593) South San
Francisco Land and Improvement Company to Southern
Pacific Railroad Company and recorded December l, 1895
in book $7 of deeds, page 21, San Mateo County records)
said point being distant North 74o27' West 4§0.00', south
15°33t west 817.03', north 59o39'57'' west 349.47 feet
from the southeasterly corner of Block 79 as said block
is shown on the map entitled "South San Francisco, San
Mateo County, California, Plat No. l" recorded in Book
B of map, page 6, official records of San Mateo County;

thence North 59 39 57 ' west 6?.908 feet; thence South
72°55'05'' West 16. 869 feet; thence on a curve con-
cave to the right, having a radius of 11434.17 feet for
an arc distance of 29.935 feet (the tangent to said curve
at the point of beginning being the last described course)
thence compounding to a curve concave to the right, hav-
ing a radius of 5704.60 feet for an arc distance of 21.227
feet; thence South 59o~9'57'' East 68.089 feet; thence in
a northeasterly direction on the arc of a curve, concave
to the left, having a radius of 11484.17 feet for an arc
distance of 5.0@9 feet (the long chord of said arc bears
North 72o55.48'' East 5.088 feet); thence North 72o58'03'''
East 62.@19 feet to the point of beginning and contain-
ing an area of 0.078 of an acre, more or less.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
