HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso RDA 13-1997 RESOLUTION NO. 13-97 REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO PREPARE AND EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH MID-PENINSULA HOUSING COALITION, IN THE AMOUNT OF $69,972, FOR DESIGN FEASIBILITY ANALYSIS FOR THE ACQUISITION, REHABILITATION, AND/OR CONSTRUCTION OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING DEVELOPMENTS WHEREAS, the proposed contract with Mid-Peninsula would provide up to $69,972 for a design feasibility analysis for the acquisition, rehabilitation, and/or construction of affordable housing developments in the City; and WHEREAS, this contract would pay Mid-Peninsula's predevelopment costs for work such as engineering studies, appraisals, architectural design concepts, and financial feasibility proformas for Willow Gardens, the Paradise Valley site, and other sites as requested by staff; and WHEREAS, funding for the contract will come from the Redevelopment Agency Low and Moderate Income Housing Fund. It will not be necessary to modify the budget to fund this contract since adequate funds were set aside for consultation and feasibility studies for housing in the current year's budget. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of South San Francisco that it hereby authorizes the Executive Director to prepare and execute a contract with Mid-Peninsula Housing Coalition, in an amount not to exceed $69,972, for design feasibility analysis for the acquisition, rehabilitation, and/or construction of affordable housing developments. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of South San Francisco at aregtl] ar meeting held on the 22nd day of~ 0ct _, 1997 by the following vote: AYES: Boardmembers James L.
