HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 537-1936?~S0~ION ACCEPTING DEED FROM CALIFORNIA WATER SERVICE COMPANY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San FranciSco that the deed, dated the 12th day of August , 1935, ?herein California Water Service Company~ a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of California, con- veys to said City of South San F~ancisco an easement or right of way for the con- struction or maintenance of a drainage conduit, channel or canal~to convey and onc- fine the waters from Colma Creek and Baden Creek water sheds through and across the land hereinafter described, be, and the same hereby is accepted' / The land hereinbefore referred to consists of all those certain parcels or tracts of land situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, and particularly described as follows, to-wit: PARCEL ONE A parcel of land situated in the City of South San Francisco, described as follows: A strip of land 50 feet in width, 25 feet on each side of the following described center line: BEGINNING at ~ point in the Northwesterly line of Chestnut Avenue, said point being dis~tant South 15° 33' West 92.64 feet; South 43 33~ West o00.97 feet and North 59° 39' 57" West 82.18 feet from the Southwesterly corner of Bloc~ 79, as said Block is shovm on a map entitled, "South San Francisco, San Mateo Co. Cal. Plat No. l", recorded in Book "B" of Maps at page 6, Official Records of San Mateo County, California; thence North 59° 39' 57" West 768.09 feet to a point in the Southeasterly line of Oak Avenue, said point being distant South 33° 52' 56" East 112.31 feet and South 59° 39' 57" East 100.64 feet from granite monu- ment No. 31 in the center line of Mission Road, which monu- ment bears South 53° 15' West 212.52 feet distant from granite monument No. 32, as said monuments are shown on a map entitled, "Map of a Survey Made for P. E. Iller of Lands Purchased in the Buri Burl Rancho and Sections 21-22-23-26-27 and 28, T 3 S, R 5W Located in San Mateo County, California" recorded in Book "E~' of Maps, page 79, Official Records of San Mateo County, California. Containing o.869 acres. PARCEL TWO A parcel of land situated in the City of South San Francisco, described as follows: A strip of land 50 feet in width, 25 feet on each side of the following described center line: BEGINNI.~G at a point in the Southeasterly line of Chestnut Avenue, said point being distant South 15° 33' West 92.64 feet and South 43° 3~' West 600.97 feet from the Southwesterly corner of Block 79, as said Block is shown on map entitled, "south San F~anclsco, San Mateo County, California, Plat No. l", recorded in Book "B" of Maps at page 6, Official Records of San Mateo County, California; thence South 59° 39' 57" East 413.67 feet to a point in the Northerlt line of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company Baden Brauch right of way. Containing 0.475 acres. ALSO a strip of land 30 feet in width, 15 feet on each side of the following described center line, EXCEPTING that portion lying within the limits of the above description: BEGINNING at a point North 59° 39t 57" West 142.32 feet f~om the point of beginning of the above described center line; thence on a curve to the left having a radius of 200 feet, and tangent to the above describ- ed center line, an arc distance of 190.76 feet to a point; thence South 65° 41' 10'~ West tangent to the last mentioned curve at the last mentioned point~ 408.73 feet to a point; thence on a ctu~ve to the left havinE a radius of 100 feet tangent to the last mentioned line at th~ last mentioned point an arc distance of 49.91 feet to a point on the Nortt~vesterly right of way line of the Souther~ Pacific Rai~oad Valencia Street Branch, which point is distant 40 feet Northeasterly at right angles f~om Station 864 29.96 on the center line of said railroad right of way. Containing 0.814 acres.
